Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit this GoFundMe for my father, Scott Bryan.

As many of you know, my father has lived a life full of adventure. He's a father but most importantly a friend to many. Whether he was hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains or educating the public about Florida’s wildlife and native plants, he has always been the vibrant soul we all know and cherish.

Unfortunately, in the fall of last year, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver. So far, treatments have not shown the progress we had hoped for. This week, he will be under the care of a specialist for 3–5 days, and we are praying for a positive turn in his diagnostics.

As you can imagine, medical bills are already mounting, and my father is navigating this on a very limited income. All donations are towards his treatment and medications.
