In march of this year Scott Bigler was diagnosed with an advanced cancer that had metastasized to his lymph node glands. Scott is in his 70's and decide to forgo treatment as he was told this was terminal. Hospice was brought in to help with his care. Scott got to the point he could not eat, drink or swallow liquids. His hearing & sight were both very limited at this point He was just days away from dying when he decided to seek additional help. On April 15th he was transferred to a VA Hospital via ambulance. Additional test were done and it was found that his original diagnoses was incorrect. What Scott is dealing with is Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia . There is no cure but Scott received a little hope in that he could get treatment and have a bit of a longer life to spend with the love of his life, Linda-Sue Bigler, who he fondly refers to as "Lady-Sue". Linda-Sue is the sole care giver and is extremely exhausted due to lack of sleep. Please keep both of them in your prayers.
The cost of transportation back and forth for the treatments & uncovered medications has taken a toll on their finances.
If you are able to help with any amount it will be greatly appreciated so we can take some of the burden off their backs
Thank you
