Help Scott and Robin

In March of 2017 Robin and Scott found out Scott had Pancreatic cancer.  Since his diagnosis, they have been dealing with this news quietly.  Things are now more urgent.  Scott is due very soon to have a Whipple Procedure.  This procedure is a major surgery designed to remove cancerous tumors at the head of the pancreas.  Often, it is necessary to remove other organs of the gastrointestinal tract as well, complicating an already difficult surgery.  The recovery will be long, and complications from this particular surgery can be numerous.  Recently, because of the type cancer he has,  Scott's blood sugars have been dangerously low necessitating Robin to be in constant watch to keep her husband safe.  With Scott missing work, and Robin taking a break from her duties as an ER nurse to care for him, there will be some financial hardships.  We love these two people and would love to help them in some way.  Many of us are praying for them, many are bringing them food, others are helping where they can at the house.  Starting this page provides all of us an opportunity to make a small difference for these two wonderful people.  Robin did not ask me to do this, but relented after some persistence by me.  I am grateful she agreed.  If you are inclined, please donate what your heart allows.  Small donations add up very quickly, and any amount will help.
