We are raising funds to help support a group of young Scottish wrestlers with travel costs for an incredible opportunity to compete in the United States.

These young athletes have been given the chance to travel to Iowa to compete at the AAU Junior Olympic Games Wrestling Freestyle event, taking place from 31 July to 2 August 2026.

Scottish wrestling is home to many talented, dedicated and hardworking young athletes who train consistently, compete with pride and represent the sport with passion. Opportunities like this allow them to challenge themselves at a higher level, gain valuable international experience and develop both as athletes and individuals.

Competing at the AAU Junior Olympic Games will give these young wrestlers the chance to test themselves against some of the best young athletes in the sport, experience a different wrestling culture and create memories that will stay with them forever.

Travelling to America comes with significant costs and we want to ensure that every young athlete has the opportunity to take part. The funds raised through this page will go directly towards travel expenses, helping make this incredible opportunity more achievable for the wrestlers and their families.
