Quadball Scotland is once again asking for your help! Thanks to your awesome support in our last fundraiser, all of our players were able to attend the IQA World Cup without worry.
After Scotland's great performance at World Cup, we are seeking to keep the momentum going at the Quadball Nations Cup this 4-5th October 2025. As QNations is a development tournament, we are prioritising players who did not attend World Cup for our roster. As such we are once again asking for your financial assistance, as a large portion of our players are students or low-income.
This international tournament is a fantastic opportunity for our team to showcase their talent, dedication, and Scottish pride on the world stage as well as to develop our skills for future tournaments. We need your help so that all our players have equal access to this opportunity. We are reaching out to our community to ensure that every talented player has the chance to represent Scotland. Any financial support, no matter how small, will be sincerely appreciated.
> Why are we asking for this amount?
The tournament requires all players to pay the accommodation/buffet fees of €165, in addition to the costs of flights, trains, kit, player fees and anything else a player may need. Therefore estimated costs are upwards of £250 per person.
> How will the funds be used?
All funds will be used to help subsidise costs for players who request financial assistance in attending QNations. These costs may include travel (i.e. flights, trains), tournament fees and accommodation fees. Any excess funds will be kept to subsidise costs for low-income players in future International tournaments.
> Who are we?

> What is Quadball?
Quadball is an exciting, fast-paced, full-contact sport. A quadball team consists of up to 21 athletes with seven players per team on the field at any one time. Each player must keep a stick between their legs at all times. The gender maximum rule limits the number of players who identify as the same gender a team can have in play at the same time, ensuring the sport is inclusive to all genders and that gender diversity is always maintained on the field of play.
Quadball has existed since 2005 across 40 different countries, including Scotland. It embraces players of all genders and sexualities. All Quadball Athletes play as their stated gender and have the right to define how they identify. It is this stated gender that is recognized on pitch. Quadball is important because many players have, for the first time, found a team sport that recognizes them as they are.
