Emilio Recinos has lost his life to cancer. He was a man of God who loved his family and people. He was loved by many. The Recinos Family are a loving and caring bunch who are guided by their Mother Nancy Recinos. Nancy has sacrificed everything to be by the side of her husband Emilio until he took his last breath. The Recinos Family is in dire need of our support.
Emilio Recinos was a devoted father, husband, and son. He was a reliable, hardworking man who was always there for his family to ensure they had everything they needed. He was born in El Salvador and loved holidays when he could travel back home to visit family. As a truck driver, he drove all over the United States and was able to visit much of this country. Emilio was a caring man who always looked to put a smile on peoples’ faces. He was always thinking of others. During his funeral services his sister said, “He asked how was my spirit and to keep attending church in order to continue seeking God .”
Recently, Emilio lost his long battle with metastatic bone cancer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy and their four children: Maira, Brandy, Melissa, and Jason. Emilio’s daughter stated that her dad...” Despite being in pain and suffering, he never failed to put a smile on our face. He was always positive saying he will get out of this. He always motivated us to be better and fight any battles, no matter how big or small, regardless of how he was feeling.”
Jason, Emilio’s son, plays competitive soccer for the Port St Lucie Hurricanes Soccer Club. Emilio always made it a top priority to support his son at practices and games. There are many photos of Emilio beaming with pride at his son’s accomplishments.

The Recinos family is now in need of our support. In addition to the emotional loss of losing their husband and father, Nancy needed to stop working to help care for Emilio. As the family is forced to face life going forward without Emilio, they are also faced with mounting medical bills, along with, their other monthly expenses.
Our goal is to help the Recinos family pay 6 months of mortgage payments and to pay off the family vehicle. This would give the family a few less things to worry about and help give them the opportunity to gain some emotional and financial stability as they transition to their new “normal” with Emilio watching over them rather than being here with them.
Each of us is like a candle we can only give a little light, but if we put our lights together, we can shine a bright light. Together we can help shine a bright light over the lives of the Recinos family. I would like to share one my favorite bible verses.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
