Scorch Fitness, a staple in the RAD district, was completely destroyed by the recent hurricane. Scorch fitness has been a staple in the AVL community fostering a supportive community for all and making it a mission to give back to the community. Join me, a former teacher at Scorch Fitness, in giving back to this amazing community.

As if the storm wasn’t enough, our owner, Ellen and husband Farrell, had to evacuate Asheville and is traveling to New York while due for Childbirth October 2nd. Many teachers have lost property creating a crisis for housing and other basic needs. More than one have current health related emergencies.

We’ve always strived to empower individuals through fitness, fostering a supportive environment for everyone. Now, with our equipment and infrastructure damaged, we’re unable to serve our members. We aim to rebuild stronger than ever, but have a long road ahead and are unsure of what the future holds.

Your donations will go directly to support our teachers who have been impacted by the hurricane. We hope to rebuild one day, but we are not sure what the future holds. Ellen & Farrell opened a second studio just a few weeks ago, and luckily it survived with minor damage. They plan to reopen when it’s possible to continue the spirit of the Scorch community.
