Help Scooby, Our Little Corgi, Get the Medical Care He Needs

Donation protected
A few weeks ago, we adopted the cutest little corgi puppy, Scooby. He’s a playful, funny, silly little tater tot, and we fell in love with him the first time we met him.

A couple of days ago, Scooby started circling when he was walking. We thought he was just being a silly puppy. Then yesterday, he started circling a lot more, a lot faster, and was bumping into things. He also began to lose his appetite. He wouldn’t even eat his yummy treats or his food. Concerned, we took him to the ER vet today, and they suspect he has hydrocephalus.

Hydrocephalus is a condition where fluid builds up in the brain, creating pressure that can be dangerous if not treated. The vet prescribed medications, but we need to confirm the diagnosis with a neurologist. This will involve an MRI, and possibly surgery to place a shunt to help drain the fluids and relieve the pressure on Scooby’s brain.

The costs for his medications, neurologist visits, MRI, surgery, and follow-up procedures are estimated to be between $20,000-$30,000. It’s a daunting amount, and we’re reaching out for help.

We hate asking for assistance, but we want to give little Scooby the best and most comfortable life he can have. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in Scooby’s life. Please help us in giving Scooby a chance to grow up healthy and happy. Your support means the world to us and to our sweet Scooby ❤️

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
