School board candidate arrested in Worcester ICE raid fund

A few articles detail the incident best: the community came together when Worcester, MA Police and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers held a young girl's face to the ground, chased a young mother holding a five-month-old baby, and refused to present any court order or warrant. My aunt was arrested by these agencies- along with the aforementioned young girl. Her life is starting to look like a fever dream.

Her name is Ashley Spring and she was recently approved as a candidate for Worcester District A School Committee. Her little-known Instagram account is @ashley4worcesterkids and it chronicles her recent efforts to represent and protect Worcester students and families. That's what she was doing on Eureka St. on Thursday.
She needs help now. She has been placed on UNPAID leave from her job as a nurse at Worcester Public Schools. Losing her income will no-doubt devastate her family but I know she won't regret ANSWERING SCREAMS AND CRIES FOR HELP. She needs a lawyer and she needs to protect herself.
Ashley is working with local organizations to assist this Worcester family who were targeted yesterday. Look out for an update to this post. Local organizations are working to assist this family and Ashley is focusing right now on supporting these efforts
Just very basically, I'm asking the community to cover my aunt in support. I have watched her jump to financially and physically (she's a nurse) help others with exactly this much indifference to her own wellbeing. I know that so many people, like me, want to carry her through this with court fees and lost wages. Thank you for your support!
