Help Schnucki Beat FIP

Hi, I'm Lilah and my sweetie pie and best friend, Schnucki, was just diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), it's caused by a mutation of feline coronavirus and has previously been considered fatal. Although they have discovered a treatment that has an approximate success rate of 90% it is still considered experimental and very costly (completely out of pocket). We have started the process of assessing his pretreatment health with our vet and are waiting to receive his first few weeks of medication in the next 48 hours. He will need these medications for 3 months and then an additional 3 months of observation. His care will consist of daily medication and supplement administration for the first 3 months, as well as daily weights/measurements and monthly labs to evaluate the medication's effects on his little body.

Please help me help my little guy, I rescued him about 6 months ago but honestly he has rescued me and helped me through some very tough things over the last few months. My parents are willing to help me through this, and I am using my savings but any amount that you can spare or even just sharing this with others to help me spread the word would be so greatly appreciated. I wouldn't even be asking if it wasn't very serious and time-sensitive. He will have a long road of treatment and recovery ahead of him, but I just know that we are meant to be together<3

Any donations in excess of his complete treatment costs or if his treatment shall no longer be needed, I plan to donate the remaining to other FIP warriors ❤️
