I am honored to say that I have been nominated by my math teacher to attend a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) forum over the summer at the University of my choosing!
The program is called NYLF explore STEM (national youth leadership forum)

Attending this prestigious program would give me the chance to participate in real-life experience in fields that interest me, and help prepare me for my future in college and beyond.
Not to mention all the amazing people and friends I would meet along the way.
I am hoping that with the support of my community I will be able to raise enough money to make this dream come true.
The program is costly as it includes lodging, projects and workshops, as well as amazing guest speakers like former astronauts! Travel expenses are separate from the program.
I plan to attend the forum at either San Fransisco State or Occidental College in California.
