Scarlett has been with me since she was small enough to fit into my slipper. She’s my first child, and I can’t imagine life without her, especially as my family grows. Recently, Scarlett was bitten by something, and within just two days, the bite caused severe swelling and broke down the skin and tissue in her legs. I rushed her to the vet, where she received antibiotic injections, pills, and steroids. Despite all the care, her wound has struggled to heal. We’ve had to have skin removed multiple times because whatever bit her continues to eat away at her leg, and we still haven’t figured out the cause. Now, Scarlett needs surgery to remove more of the affected area and hopefully stop the spread.

The funds raised will go directly toward Scarlett’s surgery, her medications, and the physical therapy she’ll need to recover from tissue damage ,muscle building and leg weakness. I’ve already spent so much on this journey trying to save her, and I’m doing everything I can to give her the best chance. I’ve cried so many nights, feeling helpless and scared for her future. Scarlett means the world to me, and I don’t want to give up on her. Any support you can offer would mean everything to us. I will not give up on her because she never gave up on me!!!
