Help Scarlett Continue Her Progress
Our daughter Scarlett is 10 years old. She is autistic and nonverbal.
In November, we made the difficult decision to take her to Panama for stem cell treatment at the Stem Cell Institute. It was not an easy choice—emotionally or financially—but it was made out of love and hope for our daughter’s future.
Since returning, we have seen changes we never thought we would experience.
Scarlett has been attempting to imitate speech more and has even said “no, no, no” when responding to us—something we had never heard before. She is no longer getting stuck as often, transitions more smoothly, and seems more regulated and present. Her teachers, family members, and we as her parents have all noticed these improvements. For us, these moments mean everything.
Her doctors have recommended continuing treatment every 6–8 months to maintain and build on this progress. Unfortunately, the cost is overwhelming. The treatment alone is nearly $18,000, not including flights and other related expenses.

Our Family’s Journey
My husband and I are high school sweethearts—we’ve been together since I was 15 and he was 16. We always dreamed of building a family together, but getting pregnant wasn’t easy. After fertility treatments, we welcomed our first child, a miracle baby boy named Lucas. Two years later, we had our beautiful baby girl Scarlett.
While pregnant with Scarlett, Lucas was diagnosed with autism. When Scarlett was 14 months old, she was also diagnosed with autism. When we later found out we were pregnant with precious Delilah—our surprise baby—we struggled to fully enjoy the moment due to the stress and heartache we were already navigating. A few years later, Delilah was also diagnosed with autism.
Raising three autistic children has been a journey filled with deep love, strength, and resilience. We have always done everything we can on our own—but this time, we need help.

How You Can Help
Your donation will go directly toward Scarlett’s continued stem cell treatments, as well as the travel and medical-related expenses needed to give her the best opportunity to keep progressing.
Every donation—no matter the amount—brings Scarlett one step closer to more communication, independence, and connection with the world around her.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing our story means just as much.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our family and believing in Scarlett
