Help SCARED SACRED get to Burning Man

Hello burners, art lovers and friends.

We are Dust and Beau, twin brothers working together to bring our art installation, Scared Sacred, to Burning Man.

A little info:

SCARED SACRED is a play on the balance between light and darkness. The lower half features a trunk that is entwined with creatures and tentacles. The upper branches are filled with crystals and chandeliers. The intentional interplay between the trunk and the canopy emphasizes the balance between light and dark.

As part of the Burning Man Honoraria Program, we have received partial funding for this project. On average, recipients receive 40-60% funding for their projects. While we work on building this art piece, we need to raise funds to help cover our costs.

How your donations will help:

There is an enormous amount of costs behind building and bringing art to Burning Man, including material costs, fabrication costs and transportation costs. Not only do we need to build and install it, but we need to power it and keep it lit at night.

We have taken a bit of a different approach to our art installation. We have used a combination of up cycled materials, but also, a large amount of high end materials and components including chandaliers, crystals, stones and exotic leather. After burning man, we will clean up all the playa and put it on display in a gallery.
