Help SBUA students to go to Spain!!
Donation protected
We are a Year 10 Spanish GCSE and a Y12 Spanish A-Level class, and ever since our Spanish teachers told us about our trip to Spain, we have been so happy, excited, and cannot wait to go. Many of us don’t have the opportunity to travel. Our school values equity and wants to give us this chance to experience another culture and doesn’t believe that we should be denied this opportunity because we cannot afford it. Therefore, we are asking you to help us reach our goal of £150 per student so that we can all get to travel to Madrid. We have been working hard to prepare for our Spanish exams and have also been working hard to fundraise for this trip, and your support will help us achieve what we have been planning for so long.
There are many reasons why this trip is essential to us. This trip will allow us to put the Spanish that we have been learning since Year 7 into practice and experience Spanish culture first hand. We will be able to test our skills in a real-life context and will be able to improve our language skills. Our exams are coming up, and some questions require cultural knowledge and this trip will give us invaluable experience that will be useful for our exam and life.
Many of us have also never been abroad, so this will be an amazing experience for us beyond our Spanish GCSE and A-Level. Therefore, we would be eternally grateful for any support you could give us.
