Support Stony Brook Bhangra

A young, talented and cultural team, Stony Brook Bhangra showcases the famous cultural folk dance of Punjab with great pride and honor. Our team is a group of young dancers who all attend Stony Brook University. We come from diverse backgrounds, within and outside of the South Asian diaspora and with various levels of dancing experience in different dance forms. At the core, Stony Brook Bhangra believes in giving back to our local community and encouraging all people to experience the liveliness of Bhangra, whether that be through our performances or events we host on campus.

Our team began to focus in a competitive direction very recently as our team had a turnover of performers, and realized the room we have to grow into a proper competitive collegiate Bhangra team. Our team spends hours and hours on choreographing and dancing whilst balancing our academic careers. We are trying to raise money to help our team through competitions and events. However, we still have difficulties making ends meet. 

Please help SBU Bhangra raise $3,000! This money would go a long way and help us deliver our best and show the world our team's drive and passion! Overall, we are extremely grateful for everyone's support and can't thank you enough for helping our team.
