SBCA Boys to Compete in New England Championships

The South Boston Catholic Academy (SBCA) 5th/6th Grade Boys Basketball Team (SBCA) had an amazing week of basketball topped off by winning the title of 2025 Catholic School State Championship! These boys have put their heart and soul into the games and are looking forward to competing in the New England Catholic School Championships on March 28-30th. Many of the boys have been classmates since kindergarten and their support for one another is evident in how they cheer each other on and come together as a team.

Leading up to the State Championship, SBCA won the SSPSL Championship last week, the RCAB Semi- Finals and then took home the RCAB Championship. SBCA will now travel to Connecticut, to play the New England Catholic School Champs and hopefully bring a third trophy back to South Boston.

Please consider donating to help cover the teams travel expenses to Connecticut. 100 % of the donations will go to the trip to the finals.
