Sayed, the owner of Maschall's Kitchen, has always worked hard to provide for his family and community.
Recently, his world was turned upside down when his daughter needed sudden spinal fusion surgery, which comes with a long 14-month recovery period. While caring for his daughter, Sayed has also been dealing with his own health challenges, including tremors and early onset Parkinson's disease.
As a result of these unexpected hardships and medical bills for the procedure as well as expenses for recovery, Sayed has fallen five months behind on his business rent and may have to close his business.
Despite his best efforts, the business is struggling due to the sudden hardships and his livelihood is at risk.
The funds raised through this campaign, created on behalf of Sayed and his family by a patron, will go directly to the family to help them catch up on rent for the restaurant and avoid risk of closure and losing their livelihood, as well as offset costs related to their daughter's medical procedure and recovery.
Please consider supporting Sayed and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help them get back on their feet.
Your kindness and generosity will give Sayed hope and the chance to keep the family's restaurant and livelihood open for the community he loves.
