As you know, Darla Moore suddenly passed away on Friday, September 17th 2021. The world lost a bright light and caring soul. Darla had so much love to give and so many people who thought of her as a second mom. She leaves behind Ken, her husband of almost 50 years, five children, her beloved grandchildren, and countless friends and family.
Many people have asked where they can send flowers. We would ask that in place of flowers, you consider a donation to her memorial services fund. Should there be any left over funds, they will go to Ken to provide him extra support as he navigates this unbearable loss. There will be a service for friends and family on Saturday, October 9th in Eureka, CA. This is where Darla was born and raised, where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, and started the life and family she dreamt of. We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayer and support over these past few days. Although we are overwhelmed with sorrow and grief, we can feel your love and it has warmed our hearts seeing how cherished she is by so many.
