Hi, my name is Doug Kreps and I’m creating this page for my daughter’s family (Matthew Saxe family). A recent heavy rainfall of nearly 4” in Barnesville, MN (August 5th, 2025) flooded their basement with 4 feet of water and mud. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the extra flood clause in their homeowner's insurance policy. They have lost their furnace, which was less than 5 years old. They also lost a new washer and dryer, chest freezer, computers, and many other family treasures. As we all know, with inflation, uncertainty with the economy, and just raising a family of 4, life is a challenge.
