Hello, and thank you so much for being here.
This fundraiser is for my son, Sawyer — my biggest hero and one of the strongest warriors I know.
Sawyer has been living with Type 1 diabetes since he was just 4 years old. Every single day he shows a level of courage, resilience, and strength that continues to amaze me. Managing this disease is constant and demanding, but he faces it with a unique bravery and strength that you don’t get to see a lot.
One of the most special places in the world for Sawyer is Camp Floyd Rogers — a camp created just for kids living with diabetes. At camp, he gets to be surrounded by other children who truly understand what it’s like to live with this condition every day. It’s a place where he doesn’t feel different or alone. Instead, he feels supported, understood, and free to simply be a kid. The emotional, physical, and psychological support he gains there is truly life-changing and life-long!
Normally, I try to organize something fun and creative to give back while raising funds. This year, life moved faster than I could keep up with, and I just didn’t have the time to put something together — but we still need our village.
If you are able, please consider helping us send Sawyer to camp this year. He truly deserves this experience, and any support — whether through a donation or simply sharing this page — means more to us than I can put into words.
Thank you for loving and supporting my incredible boy.
With love and gratitude,
Lecy
