Help Sawsan Alkurabi

Sawsan Alkurabi was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.  She is a single mother of two beautiful daughters but have not been able to work since March 21, 2018 which has left her without pay for months.  She has gone through surgery and several rounds of chemotherapy this year yet she still  faces another surgery along with 6 more months of grueling Herceptin targeted therapy infusions. All of this has been compounded with some personal, yet difficult, changes in her life leaving her without much financial, emotional and physical support. 

It has been difficult for her to set up a GoFundMe page but now, on top of every other trial, she is faced with large medical bills and has used up her sick and leave pay from work months ago.  With much support from her dear friends and family, she has finally conceded to having a page set up for her to help relieve some financial burden during these desperate and trying times. Any money donated will go to her medical bills, household bills and expenses for her daughters. 

Even during this difficult health challenge, Sawsan has helped many people this year and continues to be active in organizing help for other Cancer Warriors, revealing her big heart for others despite limitations from her own trials. She is humbled by the great love through words, donated time and money.  Thank you for helping a loving sister out in her darkest times.
