Dear All Ex-Gandakians and EGBOSA Friends,

Ms. Savyata Marahatta, a GBS Grade 9 student and daughter of Mr. Bharat Marahatta, an ex-student of GBS (SLC Batch 2054), has been diagnosed with blood cancer (Leukemia) and is currently undergoing medication at BP Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur, Nepal. We have been supporting Savyata’s studies (50% of the tuition fees) for grades IV-VI and (100% of the tuition fees for grades VII-IX) at GBS under the “Support a Gandakian by a Gandakian” scheme through the money raised via the Fund Raising Drive Campaign from our friends and family periodically.

Bharat lost his other daughter two years ago due to septic shock. With only his wife making a small earning in the family and Bharat having to quit his regular job to look after his ailing daughter, they are struggling to fight against the illness that their daughter has caught now, both financially and mentally. At this difficult time, we urge all ex-Gandakians and EGBOSA friends around the globe to support with some funds to Mr. Marahatta.
