Help Save Zeus: Labs and tests are needed to discover any health issues causing behavior regression.

This is the last option for him; it would absolutely destroy me as an owner to be forced to choose behavioral euthanasia without knowing if something was wrong.

Zeus is my 6-year-old rescue pup who I’ve loved and fought for since the moment I brought him home 5 years ago. I knew when I adopted him that he came with challenges—deep-rooted fear, trauma, and behavioral issues—but he also had a heart full of love and a fierce spirit worth saving.

For the last four years, thanks to consistent training, love, and structure, Zeus thrived. He was safe, stable, and finally able to enjoy life as every dog deserves to. But in recent months, something changed. His behavior has regressed into a state of intense reactivity and aggression that has become unpredictable and dangerous—not just for myself, but for himself.

In March 2025 Zeus dismantled and ate about 30 or so pages of a book. I don’t want the book to be the reason he’s been communicating something to me I’m just not understanding through his new and recent reactivity.

I’m raising funds to cover the cost of Zeus’s labs and health tests—which may be his last chance at life. The total cost will depend on results of labs, X-rays and testing with Zeus needing to be under anesthesia. 

Every dollar raised will go directly to his vet visits, transportation if needed, and any safety gear or behavioral support items required along the way.
