A few days ago, my cat Yoshi fell from a third-floor window onto concrete.
He survived — but with life-threatening injuries and is now in a critical condition, on strong pain relief: multiple fractures on both sides of his jaw and a severely broken left leg.
He is now under the care of Davies Veterinary Specialists, where he is undergoing urgent treatment.
Why Yoshi means so much
Yoshi is only 3 years old.
He came into my life from Belarus — my dad found him for me.
Two years ago, my dad passed away. The thought of losing Yoshi now — after losing my dad — feels unbearable.
Yoshi became one of the strongest emotional connections I still have to him.
He is incredibly kind — the kindest cat I have ever met. Yoshi has his own little quirks — he loves dates and dried figs.
What has happened so far
• Emergency visit to local clinic Medivet to stabilise his critical condition — £2,600 already spent
• Transferred to Davies Veterinary Specialists
• Undergoing leg surgery
• Complex jaw surgery is the next step
• Ongoing care: scans, X-rays, follow-ups, and recovery
Financial side
The total cost of treatment is estimated at £15,000+
• His insurance covers: £7,000 (he’s covered on the maximum with Emporium)
• Remaining amount: £8,000+ out of pocket
This is far beyond what I can manage alone in such a short time
How you can help
Any contribution — no matter how small — will go directly toward:
• Surgeries (leg and jaw)
• Hospital care and monitoring
• Pain management and medication
• Follow-up appointments and imaging
Yoshi is fighting, and I’m doing everything I can for him. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this page would truly help.
❤️ Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping Yoshi
