Help save Yaky’s leg!

Hi, my name is Yocelin Espino. On August 26th at 5:38 AM, my dad was walking our dog when a driver ran a stop sign at a 4-way stop and hit her. The driver didn’t stop, and we have Ring footage from a neighbor showing the car speeding through and ramming into her.

We rushed her to the emergency vet, but the damage to her leg is so severe that they could not help. The specialists say her only options are an expensive reconstructive surgery or, as a last resort, amputation. We desperately want to save her leg, but the cost is far beyond our budget.

She is a beloved part of our family, and it breaks our hearts to see her in pain after something that wasn’t her fault. She is only 1.5 years old and loves to swim, run, play and we want her to enjoy her life with us just as how she was doing before this incident that wasn’t her or my dads fault at all.
