My name is Ololade Fasuba-Adeleke, and I’m fundraising for someone very dear to me, Yakubu Ronke Rekiat, fondly known as Iya Wale.

I have known her since I was just 10 years old. Today, at 32, I can say she has been one of the most radiant, vibrant, and energetic women I’ve ever known. She is a devoted mother of three children who desperately need their mother in good health.

Last year, she was even at my wedding in February, smiling through her pain while battling kidney cysts and a hernia since 2022. At the time, I never realized how much she was truly enduring. Now, her condition has worsened, and what was once a bright and lively spirit is now fighting every single day just to survive.

The medical bills have become overwhelming. She has undergone dialysis for 3 years and has spent 480,000 Naira monthly. Now, Iya wale urgently needs to undergo kidney transplant which costs over 50 million Naira. The cost of dialysis, medications, hospital visits, and daily care is far beyond what her family can afford. Without urgent financial support, her life is at stake.
