Hi everyone, my name is Viktor, and I’m reaching out because my beautiful 9-year-old calico cat, Willow, is fighting for her life.

Today I rushed Willow to the emergency vet after noticing she was lethargic, not eating, leaking urine, and had a worrying discharge. The ultrasound showed something devastating: her uterus is severely infected and breaking down — the vet described it as looking like “Swiss cheese.”

She has pyometra, a life-threatening infection that kills cats very quickly without emergency surgery. Willow is deteriorating rapidly, and every hour matters.

To save her, she needs an ovariohysterectomy (full uterus removal) as soon as possible.

The emergency vet quoted $4,000–$5,000, and while a non-emergency clinic may be cheaper, Willow may not have the time to wait. I’m terrified of losing her.

Willow has been with me her whole life. She is gentle, loving, quirky, and the sweetest soul. She follows me around the house, curls up on my chest every night, and has been my emotional support through some of the hardest times in my life. She is family. She is my heart.

I’ve never made a GoFundMe before, but I’m scared and desperate.

Willow will die without this surgery, and I simply cannot afford the full cost on my own right now.
