If you're a Lincoln student, you know Westside. During break, lunch and flex, we flock to this small business to get snacks, drinks and sweets. We also are greeted by the friendly face of Jean-Phillipe, also known as JP. Overall, Westside and JP have a big place in the Lincoln community.
Unfortunately, since Covid-19 shut down school, Westside has lost most of its customer base. The shelves have become increasingly more difficult to fill, and JP has had to use his own funds to stock the store. This is putting both JP and our favorite store at risk of closure.
Any donation helps, no matter how small. The money will go towards restocking the store with fresh inventory, and allowing JP to save his own funds for personal matters. This financial support will make a huge difference in whether our favorite market is still there when we finally return to school.
