Help Save Waterville's Beloved Vista Hut
Donation protected
You love this place...Remember your picnics, romantic moments and, of course, the skiing? Maybe you enjoyed a quiet getaway with a great view?
On July 12, 1942 The Waterville Garden Club dedicated the Vista Hut on top of the Badger Mountain Ski Hill. Badger Mountain trees were harvested, and the Hut was erected on this fantastic site through volunteer labor. It has long been a beautiful and inspiring testimony to the Waterville spirit of community.
The Vista Hut is nearing its 83rd year and the timbers are rotted making it an unsafe structure. The Waterville Tree and Parks Board, with the permission of the Town Council, is raising funds so we can restore this beautiful landmark for at least another 83 years! The Town of Waterville needs your help in restoring it. Your donation will help us do just that!
