One of our best advocates needs our help. Velvet Gray who has worked tirelessly at no charge to advocate for us has found found herself in a dire situation.

Velvet, who is not only an advocate she is disabled as well and has two cats requiring emergency veterinary care. Cassie is very ill and currently receiving comfort care at home that Velvet is administering herself and Lemmy has a bowel obstruction and requires emergency surgery estimated at $3,000.00. We all know how special our pets are to us and how devastating something like this can be.

Velvet has already spent over $2,200.00 to care for both of them which has resulted in the cancellation of Christmas and the holiday season.

We know this is a large feat to ask anyone this time of year. We have seen the resilience of the community and what we can achieve when joining hands. We are asking our friends and followers who are able to contribute, to help us reach our goal. If only 200 of our followers each, contributes even just $5.00 , this could help Velvet achieve her Christmas miracle and save her cat’s lives.
