I rescued Toulouse 6 years ago (right before his previous owner signed for euthanasia) because he was a special-needs cat that needed a lot of attention in order to live a normal life and I haven’t left his side for more than eight hours in the last 6 years. He has changed my life immensely. Recently he started to develop a heart condition that was triggered by a steroid allergy injection that was administered 7 days ago. This injection threw him into shock, and he started experiencing severe cardiac problems and went into shock and almost died. I’ve spent about 20 K so far to try to stabilize him and just this morning I spoke to one of the top cardiologists and found out that he has been diagnosed with a condition called myocarditis, which can be reversed if he responds to treatment. The cardiologist recommended that while we wait for the test results to get back that I do another 24 to 48 hours of treatment because there is a chance that he can survive. I want to give him that chance. Unfortunately, I’ve maxed out my credit cards in the past few days and even a small donation will help save his life. I have secured enough funds to get him through 9 AM tomorrow morning however I need to get him through another 24 hours after that.
