Local dog groomer in need of help! Her shop located at the Mall in Marion has NO WATER and they do not have a planned restoration time.

My name is Riley, I’m the Adoption Coordinator at the Marion Area Humane Society. I’m making this GoFundMe in hopes that we can help support local business owner Karley (Top-Knots Grooming here in Marion, OH) going through a very hard time right now.

Karley is the groomer of my personal pets, but she quickly became a friend when she offered to help groom the dogs in need at Marion Area Humane Society. She has a small business located at the Mall in Marion! She has been a BLESSING to our humane society and the dogs who are surrendered in neglectful states. She has spent hours of her own personal time using her skills and talent as a groomer to change the lives of the homeless animals in our community. This is just a tiny part of who she is as a person, but I believe it truly speaks volumes to who she is as a person.

Top-Knots Grooming was opened almost 2 years ago and Karley has found success grooming dogs in our community! Here’s the tragedy and why I am hoping to help her raise funds right now… the Mall has been without WATER for over a week now and they have no definite date for water restoration!! This has been catastrophic for Karley, her business, and her family as she cannot do any grooming without water. She has had to cancel all of her appointments and this has left her thousands of dollars in the hole. If the water is not restored within the next few days, she will have no choice but to close down her business permanently.

Karley is truly a hardworking and kind person. She’s an extremely giving and selfless person and would never ask for help herself. She’s a mother and their grooming business is her family’s main source of income. I understand the holidays are a hard time for everyone, but my heart is just breaking for her and I’m trying to help in any way I can. I’m hoping our community can rally behind her and her family! They need a miracle at this point. Marion is huge on supporting small businesses, we currently have a small business in dire need of help!!
