Tom is a veteran and a friend who has always put others first. Recently, he suffered multiple heart attacks and nearly lost his life, which made it impossible for him to work. As the sole breadwinner for his household—his wife is on disability—Tom did everything he could to keep up with their mortgage payments. Unfortunately, the bank stopped accepting partial payments, and now they are more than six months behind, facing the threat of foreclosure.

Tom has spent his entire life helping others selflessly, but he has never been great at accepting help for himself. Now, he and his family need support to stay in their home. The money raised will go directly toward paying the past due balance on Tom's mortgage account, taking the account out of foreclosure and giving his family a chance to recover and rebuild.
