Tommy has been a cherished part of my mother-in-law’s family for the past six years. He was once a stray, but they took him in and surrounded him with love, affection, and support. Over the last four years, my mother-in-law has faced her own health battles, including fibromyalgia and diverticulitis, which make it hard for her to get out of bed most days. Through it all, Tommy has been her number one companion, offering comfort and joy when she needed it most.

Now, Tommy is facing his own health crisis. He has developed cancer on the left side of his face, and the tumor is growing larger every day. The only way to give him a chance at a longer, happier life is to have surgery to remove the tumor. The cost of the surgery and follow-up care is more than our family can manage right now. With only one car and a single income, it’s been incredibly tough to cover transportation and medical expenses, but Tommy’s health and comfort are our top priority.

We are reaching out for help because losing Tommy would be devastating, especially for my mother-in-law. He has given her so much comfort during her hardest days, and now we want to do everything we can to take care of him.
