Hello, my name is Meaghan and I am raising funds for my cat Toffee’s medical costs. Yesterday Toffee was rushed to the animal hospital because of a urethral obstruction. The vet was able to clear the blockage so that he could pee again, however, we discovered that Toffee has 20 stones in his bladder that require surgical removal. If we do not get the surgery, Toffee is at risk for another potentially lethal obstruction at any time.

Words cannot describe how important my cat Toffee is to me. Throughout the loneliness of covid lockdown in 2020 and the loss of my mother and grandmother in 2021 and 2022, Toffee has been an unrelenting source of companionship and comfort when I felt swallowed by grief and completely alone. No matter how difficult things got, I always knew I could count on Toffee to be there for me. He is not only my cat but one of my best friends. He is truly an extremely empathetic and emotionally intelligent cat with so much more love and life left in him. He is only 3 years old.

The funds from this gofundme will be used to fund the surgery to get the stones removed. From here, we will be putting him on a preventative prescription diet. We can afford this.
