I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friend and her dog, Tio.

Tio is so much more than a pet to her — he is her emotional support, her comfort during anxiety, and her constant companion through everything. He is truly her safe place.

Tio is only 2 years old. He’s a loving, joyful French Bulldog who brings happiness to everyone around him. He’s not just a dog — he’s her baby, her family, her whole heart.

A few days ago, everything changed.

Tio suddenly became very lethargic, which is completely unlike him. We rushed to the vet, where they ran blood tests and X-rays, but everything came back normal. Despite this, Tio still wasn’t himself, so we went straight to the emergency clinic.

At first, vets feared something serious like meningitis.

The next day, Tio saw a neurologist. There was a possibility it could be a herniated disc… but this morning, Tio started having seizures — and everything changed again.

Now, the vets believe Tio may be suffering from meningitis, a life-threatening condition affecting the brain and spinal cord.

To confirm the diagnosis and begin treatment, Tio urgently needs:

• An MRI

• 24-hour hospitalization

• Specialized care and medication

The costs are overwhelming.

So far:

• $1,500 has already been paid for emergency visits and tests

• $4,000 has been paid upfront for the MRI (about 75% of the total)

But we are still missing $3,000, which must be paid to continue his care.

We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.

Tio is her everything. He is her daily joy, her comfort, her little shadow. He is always happy, full of love, and gentle with everyone — humans and dogs alike. Anyone who meets him falls in love with him.

Losing Tio wouldn’t just mean losing a pet — it would mean losing her main source of comfort and emotional support.

We can’t imagine life without him.

Tio est bien plus qu’un animal pour elle — il est son soutien émotionnel, son réconfort dans ses moments d’anxiété, et son compagnon de tous les jours. Il est sa présence rassurante.

Tio a seulement 2 ans. C’est un bouledogue français rempli d’amour et de joie, qui apporte du bonheur à tous ceux qui le rencontrent. Ce n’est pas juste un chien — c’est son bébé, sa famille, toute sa vie.

Il y a quelques jours, tout a basculé.

Tio est soudainement devenu très léthargique, ce qui n’est pas du tout dans son comportement. Nous sommes allés chez le vétérinaire pour des prises de sang et des radiographies, mais tout est revenu normal. Malgré cela, Tio n’allait toujours pas bien, alors nous sommes allés en urgence.

Au départ, les vétérinaires soupçonnaient quelque chose de grave comme une méningite.

Le lendemain, Tio a vu un neurologue. Une hernie discale était possible… mais ce matin, Tio a fait des crises, et tout a encore changé.

Aujourd’hui, les vétérinaires pensent que Tio pourrait souffrir de méningite, une maladie grave et potentiellement mortelle qui affecte le cerveau et la moelle épinière.

Pour confirmer le diagnostic et commencer le traitement, Tio a besoin en urgence de :

• Une IRM

• Une hospitalisation 24 heures

• Des soins spécialisés et des médicaments

Les coûts sont très élevés.

Jusqu’à maintenant :

• 1 500 $ ont été payés pour les urgences et les tests

• 4 000 $ ont été payés d’avance pour l’IRM (environ 75 % du total)

Il manque encore 3 000 $, à payer d’ici demain matin pour poursuivre ses soins.

Nous faisons tout notre possible, mais nous ne pouvons pas y arriver seuls.

Tio est tout pour elle. Il est sa joie, son réconfort, son petit compagnon. Il est toujours heureux, plein d’amour et doux avec tout le monde — humains comme chiens. Tous ceux qui le rencontrent tombent en amour avec lui.

Perdre Tio ne serait pas seulement perdre un animal — ce serait perdre son principal soutien émotionnel.

Nous ne pouvons pas imaginer la vie sans lui.
