At some point in our lives, we've all needed a little help. That's where we find our friend Tina right now.
Sometimes, it feels like the hits just won't stop coming. Like we're knocked down again the minute we get back up on our feet.

Because of COVID-19, Tina was forced to close the doors of Tantric Tattoo from March through August. After that time, she was only able to open at 40% capacity. This prolonged closure resulted in no income for months.
Add this closure to the fact that Tina was super, super sick last summer. Though she tested negative for the Coronavirus, all we know is that this is when she started to experience more serious setbacks.
She was hit with some severe medical challenges the following fall and winter which left her unable to open the doors to her business, create any artwork, or run her shop. She never gave up. She visited doctors regularly, worked hard every, single day to get well enough to work again, and just as she began putting 2-3 half days in her shop, she was hit with another challenge.
Just last week, she slipped on ice and broke her shoulder and arm in several places. She must stay home and heal for the next 6-8 weeks.
Tina needs support in order to keep her business afloat so that when her arm is healed she can return to work.

For years and years, Tina has given back to the Olney/ Brookeville/ Sandy Spring Community. Her shop, Tantric Tattoo, is not your typical tattoo shop. Tina specializes in custom tattoos and a wide range of medical tattooing including permanent make-up, scar restoration, hair replication, and Areola Restoration. Tina works closely with some of the top plastic surgeons in the area, and she also supports patients suffering from Vitiligo and Alopecia. She is always giving back, and even as recently as October 2020 donated her work for Breast Cancer Awareness Month .
Tina and Tantric Tattoo is heavily involved with volunteer work at Walter Reed Hospital helping America's Wounded Warriors, and her work has been featured CNN not once but twice: Vets & Tattoos and The Scars of War .
she Is a proud member of the Maryland Patriot Guard, and she is the official tattoo artist for the Alex Popeck ''Never Back Down'' Foundation.
Since 2012, each year Tina and Tantric Tattoo worked to raise money for Lyme Disease with the Annual Ink to End Lyme fundraiser.
We could go on and on about how Tina is the first person to jump up and offer to lend a hand whenever someone she knows needs help. Immediately, Tina took on a leadership role in the Olney Soul Sister Tribe by volunteering to be the "Sister-in-Need" liaison, organizing support in the form of meals or donations for women in Olney who were experiencing tough times.
So whether you are able to spread a little cheer or a lot, any contribution you are able to make to help this amazing woman over this hump would be so greatly appreciated. We're all looking forward to seeing Tina's smiling face in her shop once she reopens.
