If you are a friend and/or supporter of Timeless Coffee and Bakery on College Avenue, you may not know that despite their best efforts to overcome the daunting challenges of running a small business in the Bay Area (especially during and after Covid)., Timeless now finds itself at a crossroads by having to seriously consider closing its Elmwood location.

In an incredible gesture of support, a group of merchants, fans and customers are banding together to keep this cafe open with a simple but heartfelt request to you:

In the beautiful city of Berkeley, where Timeless has served our community for years, it has become a beloved local brand, known for crafting delicious vegan cakes, pastries and coffee from scratch, right here in their cozy little shop. As you probably know, there are few vegan restaurants in the East Bay let alone vegan coffee shops. Your support can make a world of difference to our community and the Timeless employees who serve us.

We invite you to purchase gift cards, order their delicious coffee, cakes and pastries for your next party or business meeting, and/or support the GOFUNDME campaign created by our concerned supporters and community.

The funds raised will go directly to operating expenses for the Elmwood location such as payroll, payroll taxes and benefits, rent, utilities. Timeless is focused on continuing its commitment to providing fair wages and treating all staff with the respect and dignity they deserve. Until it raises enough funds, Timeless in Elmwood will need to run on an abbreviated schedule from 7-1pm.
