My wife's aunt, Tia Judi, helped raise my wife after she was orphaned. Judi gave so much and  now she is facing a health crisis and we need help paying for medical care. Tia Judi is poor - poor by Colombian standards.

Tia Judi has wounds in a leg that are not healing well due to poor circulation. Her doctors are talking to her about amputating her leg. But she has a chance to save her leg with hyperbaric oxygen treatment. She has been seen by a specialist and he thinks her leg can be saved.



But... even though Tia Judi has health insurance which would pay for an amputation, rehab, etc... , it will not pay for the hyperbaric oxygen therapy. So, treatment would be about US$1500 for the full series of treatments and the medication which she has been prescribed. And I just don't have the money at this point and need help. Specialist treatment there requires payment in advance and time is short to carry out treatments to save her from an even more difficult life as an amputee.
