Help Save Thomas' Life (Critical Condition)

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Lily. And for those of you who do, you probably know my cat, Thomas as well. Thomas has been undergoing treatments and visits about an underlying skin issue and has had a cone on for the last several weeks.

While we were away the night of the 26th of April and under the care of a pet sitter, Thomas slipped out of his cone and got out our dog door. When we returned on the 27th, he was in critical condition and had to be rushed to an emergency vet; he had clearly been attacked.

He has been in critical care since our return, bouncing back and forth between an overnight emergency hospital and a day time critical care unit. We are doing everything we can financially to keep his care continuing, but have been informed that if his condition declines he will need to be transferred to a state emergency vet hospital. The bills after 2 days of critical care are already approaching $4,000 and the estimates for state care at a minimum were quoted at $4,000 - $6,000.

Thomas is our family's entire world and we can't imagine life without him in it. He is only 9 years old and has so much left to live. We will pay anything to save his life but I worry that we won't have enough to get him the care that he needs.
