On September 30th, 2025, a 10-year-old kid stopped me as I was getting home from work in Pilsen. He asked me if this was my dog. I told him no and that he was going to take her to the pound. I couldn’t let that happen. I walked around the neighborhood for a couple of hours until dark, with no owner found. She was in rough shape.

I couldn’t just leave her. She is now safe with me, but she desperately needs veterinary care. She will likely require a skin scrape, medications, and ongoing treatment to heal her skin.

I’ve already spent over $100 of my own money on food, supplies, and immediate needs, but her medical costs will quickly add up. Despite everything she’s been through, she is gentle, trusting, and worth every bit of care. Help donate to her care!
