I found this friendly stray cat yesterday (5/6) in my yard. He is severely injured.

He usually is around but this time he has a big gash behind his ear, very fresh, he’s not looking too good.

Very low energy.

He didn’t want to eat or move yesterday.

Gave him food and water again and he finally ate later last night was able to secure him in a crate last night.

Kept him safe in crate with food, water, blanket overnight.

I was able to take him today (5/7) to vet.

He will need surgery as the cut is very deep.

Total cost will be about $2,000.

today I paid $364 for his examination and for meds for the meantime.

I would like to save him and then place him in a rescue after he recovers.

he deserves a chance to live and be off the streets after what happened.
