Help Save This Frail Farm Cat
Donation protected
I rescued this kitty from a local farm where I pick up hay regularly. The farmer doesn’t care to offer any medical care for the cats and really didn’t ask for the cats at all, as apparently they just show up. I haven’t been there this winter really so when I went to get hay today this particular cat was frail, falling over when trying to walk, and just extremely sickly. I took the cat to the vet and got this tiny 4 pound boy some basic treatment for an upper respiratory infection, ear infection, parasites, and dehydration. The cat is resting in my garage and will be surrendered to a rescue to hopefully recover and be placed in a new home at some point. This wasn’t an expense I had been prepared to cover and would welcome any donations to help cover the vet bill. Hopefully we can get this little guy healthy and into a new home that loves and cares for him. Thank you to those interested in helping!
UPDATE! With the help of some really amazing women, the goal was reached! Big thank you to every person who donated! Just incredible! Today has been such a wonderful learning experience and so inspiring to see how the rescue community really supports one another (and most importantly the vulnerable animals). I met some extraordinary people today that have been sooo helpful and caring. Patch(the kids named him) is now at a rehabber’s house being cared for. I will update with more photos if he makes it through the night. Here is a photo of him before I got him to the rescuers. He was very close to death I believe.

UPDATE 2: Patch is doing a lot better today after being closely monitored and cared for overnight. He is eating and drinking on his own and sitting up independently.

The rehabbers who are helping him are incredible! Any amount that is donated beyond the initial goal will be donated to them to help with costs involved to get him healthy and fixed.
