We’re reaching out to ask for your help in preserving an historic 1830s home and supporting a remarkable woman who has lovingly maintained it.

Our dear friend Jane, a proud and independent elder, lives in this beautiful, moss-covered home nestled in the beautiful Hudson Valley of NY. She’s the kind of person who’s always done things herself—resilient, capable, and full of heart. She is also the first one to offer help of any kind to others who need it. But right now, her home is in need of serious repairs that are beyond what she can manage alone.

This home isn’t just a structure—it’s a living piece of history and a reflection of the care and spirit Jane has poured into it. By launching this campaign, we want to help her remain in her home, surrounded by familiar memories she's nurtured over the years.

The most urgent needs include:

Drainage system repairs to keep the home functional and safe

Foundation and porch stabilization to prevent further structural damage

Roof repairs and moss removal for protection from the elements

The total cost of these repairs is steep, and while she’s not one to ask for help, we’re rallying around her to ensure she can stay in her home with dignity and safety.
