I'm Jennifer, and today, my friends and I humbly ask for your help. We are raising money to help our friend Erin, Wren, to those who know and love her.

Erin is a kind and giving person who has always been a positive influence on her friends and community. Some of you might remember her from local news. In late spring 2020, Erin baked thousands of sourdough loaves for members of her community who were being impacted by the pandemic.

Being caring, selfless and generous is simply who she is. She has consistently been a good friend and neighbour, and now she needs our help. Through no fault of her own, Erin has fallen into a bit of a crisis. Not long ago she suffered a serious workplace injury, breaking her hand in 8 places and a short time later, a second injury to her shoulder, both of which have impacted her ability to work in her chosen field. Her assistance and workers comp claims are now on appeal, and that can take a significant amount of time to resolve. We need help now, she's facing eviction, and we do not have months or years to wait.

In the meantime, she is exploring other options and is recalibrating her entire life based on these new limitations, but she needs our help to stay in her home. This is a person who has given selflessly to her friends and community when they needed it most, and I'm hoping we can return the favour. If you can help, even the smallest amount matters; we would be eternally grateful.

All donations go directly to Wren, to help cover rent so that she can keep a roof over her head. No one deserves to lose their home because of unfortunate circumstances beyond their control.
