Help save the sole surviving kitten (of 4) from pneumonia

Hi everyone,

I rescued a mom and her 4 kittens after she gave birth and got internal infection which was removed with surgery (I shared updates and details on TikTok on the page). She lost 3 kittens and I am raising her son who survived "Snowy" since she was in quarantine in the clinic since June 27th, and I'm heartbroken to share an update I sadly saw coming…

As many of you know, she had an internal infection that was surgically removed, but she was also battling calicivirus and been getting its treatment since July 2nd. Despite all the treatment and care from me and the vet, her little body couldn't keep fighting. Losing her after everything we tried has left me devastated and feeling so helpless.

● Snowy, her baby, is now fighting for his life:

Just before Miracle passed, Snowy became severely ill. He stopped eating and was struggling to breathe. I rushed him to three different vets — the first didn't seem focused on saving him, so I quickly took him to two others who thankfully acted fast.

An X-ray revealed he has pneumonia — a serious inflammation of the lungs. It seems his mom's health situation affected his. He received 2 days of antibiotic treatment and oxygen therapy, but he still urgently needs more sessions to survive.

He's stable for now, but still has sudden pneumonia attacks and needs constant care. He's too fragile and young to stay in a cage at the clinic, so I'm caring for him at home. Snowy means the world to me — I truly can't bear to lose him too.

● The Financial Situation:

I still owe $400 in vet bills from Miracle's treatment and its due payment is in a week. Originally, her care was expected to cost over $2,200, but since she passed, it ended at $1,050. I was able to pay $550 thanks to donations and using all of my personal savings. I would've paid everything if I weren't a college student and had already emptied my account for another rescue hit by a truck (Tommy, also shared on the TikTok page).

Now I'm facing another uphill battle to cover Snowy's treatment.
