Hi my name is Elle and I’m a Christian from the UK.

I believe God has placed it on my heart to stand with our brothers and sisters in Nigeria, where countless Christians are suffering simply because of their faith. So I am creating this gofundme to raise money for the Open Doors charity who are helping them.

So far, more than 52,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria—and the violence continues. Islamist extremists are burning churches and homes, kidnapping, and murdering believers. Too little is being done to stop this. That’s why I’m reaching out for your help.

The charity I’m supporting is called Open Doors. This is a global Christian charity that stands with persecuted believers in some of the toughest places to follow Jesus. In Nigeria, where violent attacks and displacement are daily realities for many Christians, Open Doors provides vital emergency aid such as food, shelter, and medical help, alongside trauma counselling for those who have suffered loss.

They also strengthen the church by providing discipleship, Bibles, and training, and help families rebuild through small business support and skills training.

By giving to Open Doors, you are helping persecuted Christians in Nigeria not only survive but also remain strong in their faith and rebuild their communities with hope.
