Help Save The Life Of This Lovely Dog

Hello,
My name is Bill Brown and I am Fundraising for my Sister N Law and her family to save the life of their beloved dog who is in need of a $7000 surgery and then $5000 in rehab, this beloved family pet is only 4 years young and has what could be a long life ahead of him with peoples help. I ask that you take a moment and imagine if this was your beloved animal, how this would feel, coming up with the funds needed or having to make that horrible decision.

Meet Yogi, a 4 year old Lab mix dog and member of a loving family. Yogi was found wondering the street in Georgia and was picked up by authorities and brought to an animal shelter, after searching for anyone to claim the dog fell short, he was prepped for adoption.

At the same time this was happening, our sister in law and her family were searching for a Dog to make that great addition to their family. They wanted to rescue a dog and began the search online. Kim, Shawn and their young son started searching thru various web sites for the right dog and they came across Yogi, it was love at first sight. they decided to pursue the adoption of Yogi from the shelter in Georgia. Yogi was brought from Georgia to New Hampshire by the folks at the shelter and the adoption process was completed.

Yogi became an instant part of the family and everyone was very happy, it was the love that was missing in a household that only an animal can bring. About a year after adoption, Yogi started walking with a limp and a vet visit revealed that he had a pellet lodged into his right rear leg in the joint, at some point someone had shot Yogi with a pellet gun. The vet stated that with some rest and medication, hopefully the pellet would work its way out of the joint and then maybe other options would exist. While the family was helping Yogi rest during this time frame, the limp seemed to be getting worse, then one morning, Yogi became very excited thinking he was going BYE BYE and jumped from the front porch down onto the driveway and began yelping in extreme pain. Shawn rushed Yogi to the vet to find out that he had blown out his Cruciate Ligament on his left leg, in fact they discovered that the limp Yogi originally had was worse due to the fact that he had already blown out the Cruciate Ligament on his right leg, most likely from uneven weight distribution due to his aliment.

Yogi is now a 4 year old dog with 2 blown ligaments in his rear legs, he cant really walk and the family carries him outside to go to the bathroom and carries him basically everywhere around the house because Yogi is not mobile. The vet has revealed to the family that this is going to cost $7000 for the 2 surgeries and then $5000 for physical therapy. You can imagine the choice one has to make at this point, this is a lot of money and combined with the fact that our family members have struggled for employment during the pandemic, we are trying to find ways to help and not have to make a terrible decision to put Yogi down, he is so young.

Folks, please join me in helping to raise money so that this beautiful loving dog can live out his life form many years and continue to provide the love and affection he has brought to our family members.

Most Appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this, this is an urgent issue so please donate sooner than later, our entire family will be so grateful, lets reverse the bad fortune some Human did by Shooting this animal and help save his life.
