Help Save the Horses Rebuild Their Safe Haven

Tax deductible
At Save the Horses, we're more than a rescue—we’re a refuge. For nearly 30 years, we’ve provided a safe, loving environment for horses, donkeys, mules, goats, pigs and other animals in need. Many arrive sick, injured or traumatized, and with the help of volunteers and supporters, we give them the care and compassion they deserve—sometimes for the rest of their lives.

But now, our sanctuary needs your help. The original main barn, which houses 15 essential stables that shelter many of our residents at night and during harsh weather, is in critical condition. Its roof supports are failing, causing the structure to shift dangerously. The barn’s roof is sliding to one side, pushing an exterior wall outward—putting animals and volunteers at risk.

We are facing a dire situation. Without urgent repairs, the barn could soon become unusable. We also need to repair parts of the foundation and fencing to ensure the continued safety of our residents.

Save the Horses is 100% donor- and volunteer-supported. While we manage our day-to-day care through incredible community generosity, these major repairs are beyond what we can handle alone.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe to help us rebuild this vital safe haven. Every dollar brings us closer to making sure these animals continue to have the shelter they deserve.

Note from the Organizer: I've volunteered with Save the Horses for over two years and help lead outreach programs like public tours. I’ve seen firsthand how much this barn means to the animals—and how urgently it needs help.
